at的时间短语通常可表示：确切的时间（如 at 10 o' clock 10点钟时），用餐时间（如 at lunchtime午餐时），其他时刻（如 at noon中午时），节日（如 at Christmas圣诞节时），年龄（如 at the age of 27 27岁时）等。
介词at可表示地点，通常用于某个小地点之前：
