answer the door 应声开门

answer the phone 接电话

【例句】
The maid went to answer the door. 女仆应声去开了门。

I answered the phone as soon as it rang. 电话铃一响，我就接了起来。

【注意】

1. 注意answer这个动词。

2. answer the door是应声开门的意思，就是说当某人敲门或者按门铃的时候去开门。

3. 这两个词组都有简便的说法，详见今天的练习。
