The Vampire Diaries is a supernatural drama television series developed by Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, based on the book series of the same name written by L. J. Smith. The series premiered on The CW Television Network on September 10, 2009. The series takes place in Mystic Falls, Virginia, a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. The main focus of the series is the love triangle between the protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) and vampire-brothers Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). As the narrative develops in the course of the series, the focal point shifts on the mysterious past of the town involving Elena's malevolent doppelgänger Katherine Pierce and the family of Original Vampires, all of which have an evil agenda of their own.

2 Broke Girls (stylized as 2 BROKE GIRL$) is an American television sitcom that debuted on CBS during the 2011–12 television season. The series follows the misadventures of roommates Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs), both financially poor, and their efforts to start a cupcake business in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn, New York. The first episode aired at 9:30 pm (E/P) after Two and a Half Men on September 19, 2011. Later episodes followed How I Met Your Mother on Monday nights at 8:30 pm (E/P). The series was created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings for Warner Bros. Television. On October 5, 2011, CBS gave a full-season order to the freshman comedy.

Go On is an American comedy-drama/sitcom series starring Matthew Perry as Ryan King, a sportscaster trying to move on from the loss of his wife. The series, created by Scott Silveri, was given a series order on April 20, 2012. A preview episode aired following the Olympics coverage on August 8. The series will premiere in its time slot on September 11, 2012, airing Tuesdays at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central after The Voice.
