英语中的冠词有不定冠词和定冠词两种。不定冠词有a和an，其中。a用以在辅音音素开头的单词前；an用在以元音音素开头的单词前。定冠词the通常用来表示某一类或某个特指的人或物，可以与名词的单、复数连用。中考主要考查冠词的常规用法

1. I think study is important work.

【解析】

1. work是不可数名词，前面不能用不定冠词

2. 表示世界上独一无二的事物名词前用定冠词

3. 第一个空后的名词第一次提到，用不定冠词；第二个空后的名词是双方都知道的，应用定冠词。

4. catch a (bad) cold是固定短语；stay in bed 意思是“呆在床上”，名词bed前面不使用定冠词

5. “the+姓氏复数”表示“一家人”或“夫妇二人”（本题属后者）；whom指“two other sons”，因此，the two of whom意思是“他们两个人”；play与球类名词连用时，名词前面不用冠词。
