This is a story about a man who was a very brave and clever soldier in the American army during the World War I. All the pepole in America knew him and many people wished to have a picture or something else of his in their homes. Not long after the war the soldier returned to Chicago. One day he went to see a dentist and had six teeth pulled out. A week later the soldier heard that his teeth were being sold in some curiosity shops(精品店) at $5 each. And on each of the teeth there was a label (标签) with the name of the soldier and words, “Buy these teeth and show them to your friends at home.” The soldier felt very angry. He rushed home and employed(雇佣) four men to go around the city and buy all his teeth. The four men went out and visited every shop in the capital. They were away all day. In the evening they returned and put the teeth they had bought on the table in front of the soldier. They had collected 195 teeth.
