【释】发疯 生气

【例】Although my dad's gonna go a little nutso over losing his deposits.

         不过我爸可能会大怒因为会损失他的婚宴押金。

【释】。。。肯定没门,不可能。。。

【例】There's no way he's gonna let us postpone this wedding.

         他不会让我们推迟婚礼的。

4、screw sth. up

【释】弄糟, 搞砸

【例】I screwed things up pretty good with Penny.

         我把本来和penny进展很好的事情搞砸了。

5、bellyache

【释】发牢骚, 抱怨

【例】Look at us, Leonard...engaging in the social convention of men bellyaching about their ol' ladies.

         看看我们,Leonard,两个爷们抱怨他们的娘们,还真像那么回事.

6、embark on

【释】开始或从事（尤指新的或难的事）

【例】Amy has embarked on a campaign to increase my feelings for her by making me happy.

         Amy正在用一些伎俩，试图通过取悦我 增加我对她的好感

7、got a hell of a lot of nerve

【释】有勇气，胆量做某事，厚脸皮做某事

【例】You've got a hell of a lot of nerve coming in here and demanding that we postpone this thing.

         你他妈还真有脸到这来要求推迟结婚的日子

8、level with sb.

【释】坦诚待人,说实话

【例】All right, look, I'm gonna level with you.I'm terrified about going into space.

         好吧 我要和你说老实话,我很害怕到太空去

9、follow-up

【释】后续工作

【例】Uh, follow-up. Are we still dating?

         再问一个问题 我们还在恋爱中吗？

【释】声明下

【例】For the record, not your worst opening line.

         声明下,这不是你最差的开场白.

          LEGO（拼图玩具）店还有甩卖.

15、 right up there

【释】差不多赶上了

【例】Well, that wasn't as entertaining as when he rents bowling shoes,but it was right up there.

         虽然比不上他租保龄球鞋那回有趣，不过快赶上了。

16、take...back

【释】收回……

【例】take something like that back.

         随便收回这种话
