President Barack Obama's appearance on "The Late Show with

David Letterman" boosted the CBS talk show to its highest overnight ratings

since February 2010.

The Obama ratings are up 60% from Letterman's Tuesday average this year and up 67% over the show' weekday average during the 2011-2012 season.

奥巴马出现的这一集《今夜秀》收视率比莱特曼每周二的收视率高出60%，比2011-2012季的周末平均收视高出67%。

Obama's appearance was particularly powerful in New York, attracting nearly half a million viewers and a 2.6 rating in adults 25-54. It was the most watched "Late Show" in New York since Jan. 2, 2008. CBS notes "Late Show" was also tops in the time period among total viewers in Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Boston, Minneapolis, Sacramento, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.
