　　Jim：It was blowing hard last night, wasn't it?

　　昨天夜里风刮得特大，是吧?

　　Mary：Yes. I think the wind was strong enough to blow down trees.

　　可不是吗，我想那大风都能把树刮倒。

　　Jim：I couldn't fall asleep long after I got in to bed.

　　我躺下好长时间都睡不着。

　　Mary：The weatherman says the wind will last for three day sand this afternoon there will be a moderate gale.

　　天气预报说这风要刮三天，今天下午有七级大风。

　　Jim：It's windy in spring in Beijing, but we seldom have such a big wind.

　　北京的春天多风，可是我们很少遇上这么大的风

　　Mary：Let's hurry home as soon as the class is over.
