　　武汉市常青实验小学

　　武汉市直属学校常青实验小学原名武汉市常青第一小学，位于汉口北端的常青花园的“高起点、高标准、高质量，实验性、示范性”的“常青教育实验区”。学校自2001年创办起，紧循“高效管理，特色发展，诚挚服务，质量创优”的思路，深入贯彻党的教育方针，紧抓发展契机，坚定地在实施素质教育中勇创常青特色，在实验教改中力促生命发展!

　　学校现拥有两个校区。第三所具有标杆性、示范性的新校区也在建设之中，预计2012年交付使用。目前，学校学生达3000余名，47个教学班，教职工158人，其中校级干部3人，中层干部8人，专任教师102人，两个校区功能齐备，环境优美，校园处处反映出生命的蓬勃与和谐。

　　学校设施一流，现有国家一级保护动物标本的生命科学馆、有设备一流的现代化网络教室、还设置了“树人谷”、“梦想剧场”、游乐园、美术馆、陶艺长廊、英语沙龙角、书画室室、民乐室、合唱厅、舞蹈室、心理辅导室、及藏书数十万册(套)的电子阅览室等，充分体现了开放式、人文性、现代化、科技化和国际化的教育思想和办学特色。

　　学校始终站在教育教学改革的前沿，坚持“科研强校”的办学方针和立足于校本培训，确立了“生命发展”教育理念，形成了“主动教育”教学模式，及以打造“班主任专业化”为核心的“有效德育”建设工程。构建了促进学生愉快学习、主动发展的充满生命活力的快乐课堂。学校被国家外专局、中国教育部批准为“拥有聘请外国专家资格单位”。几年来学校立足于双语教学改革与实验，取得极好社会反响，与上海华东师范大学、武汉大学分别建立了“双语教学”实验基地，并与新加坡JOIN小学、加拿大埃德蒙顿市桥德小学、英国纽卡斯尔默塞德小学等都建立了合作交流关系!

　　Wuhan Changqing Experimentation Primary School，which was named Wuhan Changqing No. 1 Primary School,is directly led by Wuhan City Educational Bureau . The school is located in Changqing Garden, which owns the Changqing Educational Experiment Area with the characters of “high starting point, high standard, high quality, experiment, demonstration “. Since 2001, under the guidance of effective management, characteristic development, sincere service, high quality, the school has implemented the Party's education policy, created the characteristics of Changqing, and promoted the life development.

　　The school owns two campuses now. The third one, significant and demonstrative, will be used in 2012. Now, there are 158 stuffs, 47 classes and more than 3000 pupils in the school.
