1.There be句型

There is…和There are…表“存在”或“位置”，可翻译为“有”

如：There is a book on the desk.桌上有一本书。

→There be + 名词（存在物）+ 地点（存在地）

肯定句：

1.       There is an orange behind the glass.（可数名词单数）

2.       There are three apples in the schoolbag.（可数名词复数）

3.       There issome water in the glass. (不可数名词)

否定句：

1.       There isn’t an orange behind the glass.

2.       There aren’t three apples in the schoolbag.

3.       There isn’t any water in the glass.

一般疑问句：

1.       Is there an orange behind the glass.

2.       Are there three apples in the schoolbag.

3.       Is there any water in the glass?

特殊疑问句：对存在物提问

There is a book on the desk.桌上有一本书。

→What is on the desk？

如：-What’s under the newspaper？

-There is a pair of glasses under the newspaper.

补充： How many + 名词复数+ are there +介词短语？ 用there be 来回答 如： A: How many birds are there in the tree? B: There are three. A: How many cats are there in the tree? B: There is only one.

2. What do they do…?和 What does he/she do…?用来询问某人常做什么。

如：

-What does she do in the living room？

- She watches TV in it.
